Color Cover Preview

Behold, as the Mighty Andar juggles an ancient text, the masks of drama and comedy, an anvil, a cactus, the kitchen sink, a bomb, a Grecian urn, and an artist's pallette! Harold of the Gods and General Patriot look on in what might be bewilderment and chagrin.

I drew this image to represent the idea that you never know what you might find within the covers of this comic from art history to slapstick. According to dictionary.com, the word eclectic means

The Mighty Marketplace

My son Daniel is slowly trying to teach me how to color with Photoshop. These images are the result, although he did all of the real work. I had an idea for making a clock with the image of the Mystic Yak on it. I wanted to make one to hang in my studio to remind me to get to work, and that when things look overwhelming, the only sure way is to get started. Below is what the clock will look like.

There's a neat website called Cafepress. You can order objects with your own images on them. I designed a few different products with the images Dan and I colored. The store is here.

Just one panel from an unpublished story I've submitted to an anthology. Can't show you the whole story for free, or who would buy the anthology? Actually, I don't know yet if my story made it in. As soon as I know myself, I'll tell ya!

This is a drawing of Sonoma Jack, one of the characters from my comic strip called T.A.I.L.S.

My son Daniel colored one of my drawings on the computer for me. I drew it in pen and ink and scanned it and he took it from there. He knows a lot more about computer art than I do. Thanks a lot, Dan!
