    This makes me so nostalgic! Was this a competition for the FIRST Robotics Competition? From your description, it sounds like it. I was on our high school team for three years and got to go to some of those faraway places for competitions :-)

    Those robots all look really...functioning, haha! Our first robot slowly fell apart and became more useless as the competition wore on :-)

    Yes, it is FIRST robotics. Last year, my son's team went to Nationals in Georgia. He got to hear George H.W. Bush speak in person.

    It is a great program.
